With sustainability becoming a hotter topic than ever, there is a call for business education institutions and courses to keep up.
Whilst education institutions may not be significant CO2 producers in their own right, and some have inherited older buildings that are less efficient, those with targets demonstrate a commitment to tackling climate change and set an example to students and faculty.
However, this is not just a political box ticking exercise, but rather something that prospective students are looking for institutions to take initiative on. The claim that climate change activism is a generational conflict is proving to be a myth. It appears that both current and prospective students are taking on this battle together; meaning putting policies and plans in place now and actioning them will be beneficial immediately as well as in the future.
